About Smart Welding

Smart Welding is located in Macaé-RJ, known as the National Capital of Brazilian Oil. We occupy a facility in Parque Lagomar with innovative technologies and intelligent solutions in welding and CNC processes.
We employ precision and cutting-edge technology, seeking to reduce execution time and ensuring efficiency in the application of resources and quality of services, delivering effective results to our clients while reducing time losses and rejection rates during project execution.
Our work processes serve companies ranging from oil & gas (on/off-shore), shipbuilding, energy, pipe machining, power generators, pipeline systems to simple repair and maintenance services.

Main Services Automated Welding

Cladding

Refers to a process in which a corrosion-resistant or composite metal (cladding material) is bonded electrically or mechanically through a high-pressure and high-temperature process to another metal (the substrate) to increase its durability, resistance, or appearance, or simply to restore original dimensions and sealing. Cladding weld is generally between 2 and 20 mm thick. It can be applied using a variety of welding processes that SMART Welding is capable of performing, including TIG (GTAW), MIG/MAG (GMAW), Submerged Arc (SAW) and Plasma (PTAW) welding processes.

Stub-Welding

After repairs and successive cuts, important drilling tools may no longer meet acceptable inspection standards, rendering them unfit for use. Following detailed procedures and techniques, stub-welding allows material that was "lost" to be returned to the tool, bringing it back to original specifications and making it suitable for service again.

Hardbanding

The result of significant savings in machine downtime and production costs has led this process to be adopted in various sectors, such as steel, cement, mining, petrochemicals, energy, sugarcane and food. Especially in the oil and gas sector, it is most common to correct stabilizer redress and riser hardbanding, due to the need to stabilize BHA during drilling or reduce aggressive damage to tools. The process can be T2A flamespaving or PTA and brazing process (H300 and cotraite).

Equipment Sales

Selling new and used equipment and also offering leasing of complete production lines, our clients are companies operating in the Oil & Gas, mining, steel, industrial, pulp and paper markets, among others.

Equipment Rental

We offer specialized equipment rental, providing our clients with access to the most advanced welding technology without the need for direct acquisition. Our rental service includes technical support and maintenance, ensuring maximum performance in your operations.

Equipment designed for pipe cutting and machining in general. Able to work with various pipe sizes.
Computer numerically controlled lathe for precision machining. Allows complex operations with high accuracy and repeatability.
Automated welding station with advanced controllers and systems, enabling precise, repeatable and high quality welds. Compatible with TIG, MIG/MAG, SAW and PTAW processes.
Equipment used to position and rotate parts during the welding process, enabling access to all weld joints and ensuring consistent quality.
Multi Pass Welding head: Suitable for all passes: Root, Hot, Fill and Cap. Precision tool for perfect repeatable welds. The Orbital Technique welding system is designed to make tube-to-tube and tube-to-fitting welds. Interchangeable track rings guide the head around the pipe, allowing a wide range of part sizes from 3". The Welbug system improves productivity by increasing duty cycle, reducing repair rates to below 0.1% and consistently producing quality welds.
